PASSION FOR PIES
If you ask some of the best chefs and cooks who inspired them to do what they do, the answer would inevitably be either a mom or grandmother who inspired them and allowed them to experiment side by side. My story is not much different.
My mom and inspirational matriarch of the family held the family together through the most difficult times and food played a pivotal role in our day-to-day lives. She would create magical feasts using the most humble of ingredients. She allowed me to experiment and bake and learn. I owe her a great deal of gratitude.
My food philosophy is simple: Provide the best and freshest possible ingredients and prepare it with the greatest care keeping in mind that every person who eats from my hand needs to leave inspired, enriched and have their souls fulfilled. It is a spiritual journey, not merely filling your belly. Every smiling face, every look of contentment, every comment and feedback leaves me richer and inspired to come back and do it again.
